The Adapta Journey

WHERE WE'RE COMING FROM

Hi, I'm Thais!

As the founder of Adapta, I help you MAXIMIZE your potential when living and working across Cultures through trainings, workshops, and coaching.  As an Intercultural Trainer & Consultant, Executive Coach for Expats & Global Teams, and Diversity and Inclusion Facilitator, I design, develop, and facilitate programs that help you to develop your intercultural competence or ability to communicate, work, and collaborate effectively and inclusively in an intercultural context.

I have worked with individuals (their families) and teams from Colgate-Palmolive, PepsiCo, Novartis, Suncor, Walmart, Mars, Henkel, Coach, Danone, Boehringer Ingelheim, and Estée Lauder.

Besides having the professional experience, academic background and overall skills to support you, I have had the fortune of having spent my entire career—and raising a family—in France, Portugal, Côte d’Ivoire, Venezuela, Canada and numerous US cities.

My intercultural experience starts with me and my family as a Venezuela-born daughter of two Spaniards, a bi-national Moroccan-Spanish husband, a daughter born in New York and another one in Portugal, we comfortably switch languages (English, French, and Spanish) and draw upon multiple cultural references at home.

Being exposed to very similar situations as you, as a result of living and working in different countries and at the personal level evolving in a truly multicultural family, allows me to empathize, understand, and connect at a deeper level with you. I combine practical approaches and examples that go along with a theoretical framework.
